Job Description: Newcastle United Football Club is seeking a creative and experienced Visual Merchandiser to join our retail team. As a Visual Merchandiser, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing displays and layouts in our club shop to enhance the overall shopping experience for fans and customers. Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing eye-catching window displays, product showcases, and in-store promotions to attract customers and drive sales.
• Ensuring that all merchandise is presented in an organized, visually appealing manner, in line with the club’s branding and merchandising guidelines.
• Collaborating with the retail manager and other team members to plan and execute seasonal and thematic merchandising campaigns.
• Monitoring sales performance and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization of store layouts and displays.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the store, including regular stock replenishment and visual updates.
• Training and coaching retail staff on visual merchandising techniques and standards to ensure consistency and excellence across all displays.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in visual merchandising, preferably within the retail or sports industry.
• Strong creative flair and artistic ability, with a keen eye for detail and design.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using design software and other visual merchandising tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Passion for football and a good understanding of the Newcastle United brand and its fan base.
