Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive and experienced Store Manager to oversee our Norwich store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of store operations, ensuring the highest levels of customer service, and leading a team to achieve sales and profitability goals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the store, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of store associates to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stock control, to ensure product availability and freshness.
  • Implement and maintain store merchandising standards, promotional activities, and sales initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and training to staff.
  • Monitor and analyze store performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans.
  • Manage financial aspects of the store, including budgeting, payroll, and cash handling.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a management role within the retail or grocery industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in using retail management systems and basic computer applications.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A proactive and problem-solving attitude, with the ability to handle challenging situations effectively.
