Position Overview: We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at Tim Hortons in Vaughan, ON. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, strong leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Shift Manager, you will oversee daily operations, lead a team of dedicated staff members, and ensure the highest standards of quality, cleanliness, and service are maintained.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members during assigned shifts, ensuring efficient operation of the restaurant
• Provide guidance, support, and direction to staff members, including training, coaching, and performance management
• Maintain a positive and inclusive work environment, fostering teamwork and camaraderie among team members
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times
• Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling costs to optimize profitability

• Collaborate with management to implement strategies for improving productivity, customer satisfaction, and overall performance

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in the food service industry
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is an asset
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
