Position Overview: We are seeking friendly and hardworking Crew Members to join our store in Berkeley. Crew Members are the backbone of our stores and play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers with a smile and assist them with their shopping needs.
• Operate cash registers, handle transactions accurately, and provide excellent customer service at the checkout.
• Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure products are properly labeled and priced.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store, including aisles, shelves, and checkout areas.
• Assist in unloading deliveries and restocking shelves efficiently.
• Provide product recommendations and answer customer inquiries about products and services.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
• Uphold Trader Joe’s standards for quality, service, and store appearance.

Qualifications:

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
