Amazon is looking for motivated, reliable, and hardworking individuals to join our team as Fulfillment Associates at our Birmingham Fulfillment Center. This role involves handling a variety of tasks that are essential in ensuring that customers receive their orders on time and in perfect condition. Key Responsibilities:
  • Picking and Packing: Efficiently pick customer orders from inventory and prepare them for shipment.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, stow, and manage inventory within the warehouse.
  • Sorting and Scanning: Sort packages and scan them to ensure they are correctly processed for delivery.
  • Quality Control: Check products for damage and ensure that all packaging meets Amazon’s high standards.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely use material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks (training provided).
  • Maintaining Safety Standards: Follow all safety guidelines and contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other associates to meet daily and weekly performance goals.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift items up to 23 kg (50 lbs) throughout your shift.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in all tasks, particularly when it comes to picking and packing orders.
  • Dependability: Reliable attendance and punctuality are crucial in this role.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • No Prior Experience Required: Full training provided. We are looking for individuals with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
