Job Overview:
Amazon is seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to join our team as Fulfillment Associates at our Newcastle upon Tyne Fulfillment Center. As a Fulfillment Associate, you will be responsible for picking, packing, and shipping customer orders, ensuring that they arrive on time and in perfect condition. Key Responsibilities:
  • Order Picking and Packing: Accurately select and pack customer orders, preparing them for shipment.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, stow, and manage products within the warehouse.
  • Sorting and Scanning: Sort packages according to their destination and ensure accurate scanning for dispatch.
  • Quality Control: Inspect items to ensure they meet Amazon’s quality standards before they are shipped.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and hand trucks (training provided).
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and help maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with your team to meet daily and weekly productivity targets.
Qualifications:
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift items up to 23 kg (50 lbs) for extended periods.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in all tasks, particularly when picking and packing orders.
  • Reliability: Strong attendance and punctuality are crucial.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • No Experience Necessary: Full training provided. We value a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
