Overview:

Tesla is seeking an AI Development Team Intern to join our office in Ottawa, known for its robust tech industry and innovative research environment. This internship presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of AI technologies that enhance Tesla’s energy solutions and autonomous vehicle systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of machine learning models for Tesla’s cutting-edge products.
  • Work alongside senior AI engineers to analyze data and refine algorithms for better performance.
  • Engage in the full lifecycle of AI development, from concept to deployment.
  • Document progress and results, and participate in team meetings to discuss research and development strategies.
  • Contribute to the improvement of Tesla’s AI systems through creative problem-solving and innovative thinking.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related technical field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++ and experience with AI frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of statistical methods and machine learning algorithms.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
