Role Overview: Service Colleagues at ASDA are the face of our company, ensuring that our customers receive the best shopping experience possible. This position involves various customer service tasks, ranging from cashier duties to assisting customers on the shop floor.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service, helping shoppers find products and answering their questions.
  • Process transactions quickly and accurately at checkout points.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring all areas are tidy and presentable.
  • Restock shelves and ensure products are displayed correctly.
  • Address any customer complaints or concerns with a positive and professional attitude.

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong customer-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work flexibly, adapting to various shifts including weekends and holidays.
  • Previous experience in retail or customer service is beneficial but not essential as training will be provided.
  • A proactive work ethic and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the initiative to handle various customer situations.
