Job Description: As a Hawkeye Replay Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the Hawkeye replay system during live sports events. You’ll work closely with broadcast production teams and officiating crews to provide instant replay analysis for critical decision-making moments in sports matches. This role requires technical proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Operate the Hawkeye replay system during live sports broadcasts, including setup, calibration, and troubleshooting.
• Provide instant replay analysis for officiating crews to assist in making accurate decisions on the field.
• Collaborate with broadcast production teams to ensure seamless integration of replay technology into the broadcast.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the rules and regulations of various sports to provide accurate and timely replay analysis.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of the Hawkeye replay system to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist in training new replay technicians and providing support during live events.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience operating replay systems or similar video analysis technology in a live sports environment is highly desirable.
• Strong technical skills with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and hardware systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on the scheduling of sports events.
