Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant for the nightshift at IKEA Cardiff. This role involves various tasks, including inventory management, product replenishment, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse during night hours. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, reliable, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, unload, and organize incoming deliveries.
• Ensure products are accurately labeled and stored in the correct locations within the warehouse.
• Restock products on the sales floor as needed, ensuring availability and accessibility for customers.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, in a safe and efficient manner (training provided).
• Conduct inventory counts and assist in managing stock levels.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations and timely product availability.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by the warehouse manager.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
• Flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management and reporting.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the UK.
