Position Overview: We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Part-time Warehouse Operative Assistants at IKEA Peterborough. This role involves various tasks, including inventory management, product replenishment, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in receiving, unloading, and organizing incoming deliveries.
• Ensure products are accurately labeled and stored in the correct locations within the warehouse.
• Replenish stock on the sales floor, ensuring availability and accessibility for customers.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and trolleys, in a safe and efficient manner (training provided).
• Assist customers in locating products and provide product information as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation and timely service.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the warehouse and sales managers.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or retail environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the UK.
