Job Description: As a Customer Assistant at Lidl Milton Keynes, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store and delivering exceptional service to our customers. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Greeting customers with a friendly demeanor and assisting them with their shopping needs.
  • Providing product information and recommendations to customers to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Operating cash registers accurately and efficiently, handling transactions and payments.
  • Restocking shelves and ensuring products are well-presented and organized throughout the store.
  • Assisting with inventory management tasks, including stock rotation and replenishment.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in the store, including cleaning spills and ensuring aisles are clear.
  • Collaborating with team members to achieve store targets and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Adhering to health and safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
