Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Test Engineer to join our team in Brackley. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the development and performance of our Formula One cars. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the cutting edge of automotive technology and to be part of a world-class engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning, execution, and analysis of vehicle tests, both in the lab and on the track.
• Collect and analyze test data to support the development and optimization of car performance.
• Work closely with senior engineers to design and implement test procedures and protocols.
• Support the setup and maintenance of test equipment and instrumentation.
• Contribute to the development of new testing methodologies and technologies.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations on test findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, aerodynamics, and race engineering, to ensure alignment of test activities with overall team objectives.
• Maintain a high standard of safety and quality in all testing activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a testing or engineering role, preferably within motorsport or automotive industries, is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as MATLAB, Simulink, or similar.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and demands.
• Basic understanding of vehicle dynamics and aerodynamics is beneficial.
• Passion for motorsport and a strong desire to contribute to the success of the team.
