Job Description
As a Team Member (Stock) at our Hull Kingswood location, you will play a key role in the backend operations of our store. This position involves managing inventory, organizing stock, and supporting the sales team to ensure that our customers find exactly what they need when they visit our store.
Responsibilities
- Receive, check, and store merchandise deliveries.
- Organize and maintain the stockroom for easy access and efficient workflow.
- Restock sales floor shelves and ensure products are neatly displayed.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintaining accurate stock records.
- Collaborate with sales associates to address any stock shortages or overstock issues.
- Follow all safety guidelines related to handling and storage of stock.
- Support the sales team by providing necessary stock information and updates.
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and moving stock.
- Previous experience in a stockroom or back-of-house retail role is preferred but not required.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
