We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Pharmacy Dispenser to join our Coventry team, helping us continue our mission of improving health and wellness for all.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the dispensing and supply of prescribed medication in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Accurately label, dispense, and distribute prescriptions to customers, ensuring attention to detail and patient safety.
• Provide exceptional customer service, offering advice on over-the-counter medicines and pharmacy products.
• Support the pharmacy team in the efficient running of the dispensary, including stock management and ordering supplies.
• Help customers understand their prescriptions and offer support with minor ailments and health queries.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory pharmacy standards, including confidentiality and data protection.
• Support the Pharmacist in the delivery of pharmacy services such as flu vaccinations, health checks, and medicine reviews.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.

What We’re Looking For:

• NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent) is essential.
• Previous experience in a pharmacy environment, with experience in dispensing medications.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
• Attention to detail and accuracy, especially when handling prescriptions and medical data.
• Ability to work well in a team, supporting colleagues and ensuring smooth dispensary operations.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, evenings, and bank holidays if required.
