Overview:

BBC Wales is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee new and ongoing media projects in our Bournemouth office. This role is ideal for someone with a robust background in project management within the media or broadcast industry, who is adept at steering projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full project lifecycle of media and broadcast projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content production, technical, and marketing teams, to ensure project milestones are met.
• Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress while managing changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates and effectively communicating project expectations.
• Conduct risk management to minimize project risks and handle any arising issues promptly.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a project manager in the media, broadcast, or related industry.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field; certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
