As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for supporting the efficient operation of our warehouse facility, including receiving, storing, and distributing products to our stores. If you have a strong work ethic, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for logistics, we want to hear from you.Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming shipments of goods and materials, verify quantities and quality against delivery documents, and process goods receipts in the warehouse management system.
  • Safely and efficiently store products in designated locations within the warehouse, ensuring proper rotation and organisation to maximise space utilisation.
  • Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to store requirements, using handheld scanners and other equipment as necessary.
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring that products are handled with care and safety protocols are followed at all times.
  • Perform regular stock checks and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records and identify discrepancies.
  • Assist with the maintenance of warehouse equipment and facilities, reporting any issues or defects to the appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operation of warehouse activities and timely fulfilment of orders.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks such as data entry, picking, and packing.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, to meet the demands of the business.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks as required.
  • Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment are advantageous but not essential.
