Are you a natural leader with a passion for logistics and team management? Aldi is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Warehouse Team Leader at our Sawley distribution center. As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will play a key role in leading and motivating our warehouse team to ensure the efficient and smooth operation of our distribution center.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of warehouse operatives to ensure daily targets and KPIs are met.
• Coordinate and allocate workload to team members, ensuring productivity and efficiency.
• Train, coach, and mentor warehouse operatives to maintain high standards of performance and quality.
• Monitor and enforce health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Oversee inventory management and stock control processes, including stock rotation and replenishment.
• Liaise with other departments, such as logistics and transportation, to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members to support their development and growth.
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or team leader role.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics processes.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and evenings, as required.
