Job Description:
The Scout Assistant will work closely with our scouting department to support the identification and recruitment of talented young players. This role involves assisting scouts in scouting matches, assessing player performance, and providing detailed reports to support player recruitment decisions. The Scout Assistant will also assist with administrative tasks related to scouting operations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist scouts in attending matches at various levels to identify potential talent.
• Analyze player performance and provide detailed scouting reports.
• Collaborate with scouting staff to evaluate player suitability for West Ham United.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as organizing scouting schedules and maintaining player databases.
• Stay informed about developments in the football industry and emerging talent.
• Represent West Ham United in a professional manner at all times.

Requirements:

• Passion for football and a strong understanding of the game.
• Previous experience in football scouting or player recruitment is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent observational and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
