As part of our mission to develop top-tier athletes, we are seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join our coaching staff.

Job Description: As a Women’s Athletic Coach with the Las Vegas Aces, you will play a pivotal role in the development and success of our players. You will work closely with the head coach and assistant coaches to design and implement effective training programs that enhance skills, improve fitness levels, and optimize performance. This position requires strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of basketball fundamentals.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement comprehensive training programs focused on skill development, strength conditioning, and injury prevention.
• Lead individual and team training sessions, emphasizing basketball techniques, game strategies, and teamwork.
• Evaluate player performance during practices and games, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvement.
• Collaborate with the coaching staff to develop game plans, scouting reports, and player evaluations.
• Foster a positive and supportive team environment that promotes accountability, resilience, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain open communication with players, addressing their needs, concerns, and goals both on and off the court.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in women’s basketball coaching, attending clinics, workshops, and professional development opportunities as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in sports science, kinesiology, physical education, or related field (master’s degree preferred).
• Proven experience as a basketball coach at the collegiate, professional, or international level, with a focus on women’s basketball.
• Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals, offensive and defensive strategies, and game tactics.
• Excellent leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to inspire and empower athletes to achieve their goals.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with players, staff, and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in athletics, promoting a culture of respect and belonging for all athletes.
• CPR and first aid certification (preferred).
